Judge delays arraignment in Walnut Creek Atria nursing home poisoning case

A California assisted living facility resident died from complications after being given a cleaning solution to drink. The assisted living facility stated an employee mistook the cleaning solution for juice.

The same assisted living facility had another resident suffer from being fatally poisoned with dishwashing detergent.

Too many nursing homes have a history of abuse, neglect, and not following federal law. Many of these issues lead to life-threatening cases and sometimes death.
