Oxford nursing home sued for neglect of a patient

A resident in a Massachusetts nursing home was murdered by his roommate. The nursing home facility failed to protect him from his roommate, even after the resident pleaded for a new room. The staff taking care of the resident reported his concerns to the manager. The manager told the staff member to back off and stay in their lane.

A communication book for staff to record Bob’s behavior contained numerous notes about his fears for his safety and well-being that suddenly disappeared.

Nursing homes are responsible for treating our loved ones with proper care and compassion. The Georgia Rights Alliance is dedicated to protecting the right of every Georgia citizen to seek justice in a civil court of law against corporate nursing homes that wronged them.
